I guess you could say that my golf game needed work. The same way a car needs work after it is hit by train. Needless to say, I needed some help.
I've tried personal lessons and they helped but as soon as I stopped going, I found that my game started to slip and then I was back in the same place I started. Heck, sometimes the lessons confused me more than helped. I'm trying to hit a drive and I've got 50 million things in my head that he told me. Funny thing is, he always ended it with saying, "Remember, just try to relax." Don't even get me started on all of the equipment I've bought over the years. It's got to be in the thousands by now. Still here I am.
My father-in-law, who consistently grills me on the course, told me about a golf fitness course he had taken. I had imagined doing sit-ups with a golf club or something but I was wrong. He convinced me to buy this e-book he had recently started using and it changed how I approach my golf game.
I have played sports my entire life. Mostly baseball and football, but after reading this e-book I made a comparison. Before I played baseball or before I played football, the coaches always had us do certain exercises and stretching so we could perform better on the field. I had never done this in golf. I always took a few practice swings at the first tee, did a little stretching but there was no real rhyme or reason to it. That's where this e-book came in. After reading and putting the exercises into my daily routine (by the way you can do these exercises pretty much anywhere), my scores dropped.
The only thing I can say is this: I putted and made my first eagle putt of my life 2 weeks ago. Yes, it felt good. The power on my drives is off the charts now as well.
If it sounds like this can help you, I highly recommend checking this e-book out. It's helped me more than any golf lesson or new club I have ever bought. The site is www.GuideToGolfFitness.Com. Check it out and I hope you have the same results that I've had.
Tee it high and let it fly.
